What would you do if one morning you woke up, grabbed a coffee, flicked on the news and saw that overnight an epidemic had wiped out the entire population of Atlanta, Alabama, Chicago and Minneapolis… combined.
That’s over 10 million people!
Then imagine a year later the same thing happened again.
Hard to imagine isn’t it? But every year over 10 million children under the age of five die from a far sweeping epidemic called poor health. The majority of these children died from preventable and treatable causes like Diarrhoea, Malaria and the Measles.
Next week the G8 are meeting again and they have a chance to do something to stop this. Join with World Vision and call on them to keep the promises they have made to people living and dying in poverty since 2005.
